“My whole thing is to inspire, to better people, to better myself forever in this thing that we call rap, this thing that we call hip hop.” – Kendrick Lamar
Today we're with another BlogSpot! For the past few days we have talking about the hip hip more recently as it's considered one of the most favorite genre in this modern time.
And, while we're on the subject of art, some of the most promising young artists in this sector have emerged triumphant. Among them is B-Will, whose music and writing abilities have absolutely mesmerized audiences. We're gonna highlight three tracks by this up-and-coming musician with meaningful lyrics i.e Inception, Crashing Down and Stay Away. Which just goes to show that B-Will knows his stuff when it comes to music.
So with Inception the song is in the most sincere way possible an illusion but at the same time very raw/real. The first line of the song is ; “I’m feeling like the skies falling down, & the pills the only way to calm me now, I ain’t even had to reach for those in months, yeah I feel so out of touch since we just fell out love.” It’s an illusion in the aspect the song is about B-Will's & His X girlfriend going through a traumatic break up, yet the beginning of the song specifically talks about him stopping abusing percs or pills to numb his emotions / to heal a void in his life. At that time, he didn’t know who he loved more the drugs or the girl. As a result the lyrics was strictly about coming off those pills
“Crashing Down” is a record about even when everything is going perfect or perfect in your head it all comes crashing down. The record discusses B-Will's past, & present being/ feeling. The melody is catchy/fire. His favorite 2 lyrics are ; “I came along way, came across the pond. Loyal to her cause to her I’m fond, I’m spitting straight verbs cause the skeem is bomb, I made a lotta sins look I’m sorry mom. Remember sunny days on the shore, brew in my hand & a model in my lap. Fuck a 9 to 5 guess it’s back to the trap ; never forget what she did to me my mind like a steel trap (a steel trap)”
“Stay Away” is a Record about mental illness & addiction. Song about feeling misunderstood. The melody or chorus is lit 🔥 ; favorite lyric is , “Mental illness advocate that can’t look backwards. Almost turned me to a savage, almost turned me to a addict, I can’t go back to average!”
